Molecular Profile and Consultation
-
Your blood contains thousands of biomarkers which can be measured and interpreted- some easier than others. Your physician uses blood tests to diagnosis disease, evaluating health risks, determining genetic predispositions, etc. Your molecular profile is a reflection of your health at a molecular level.
-
The routine blood tests that your primary care physician may order each year only measures about 20 biomarkers.
The Molecular You test measures over 250 biomarkers in order to evaluate your risk in 26 area of health. This advanced test is often not covered by insurance because it is a tool used for prevention rather than diagnose of disease.
-
Patients must fast for 8 hours before the blood draw and refrain from rigorous exercise the day before. This test is not recommended for those who are pregnant or receiving cancer treatment.
-
You will receive access to your results 6-8 weeks after your blood draw. You can use a mobile app or website to view and drill down into each health area and specific biomarker. You can save your results as a PDF.
-
Your consultation with Dr. Allen Gee will be scheduled about 6 weeks after the blood draw.
Our trained phlebotomists carefully prepare, freeze, and ship your plasma to a specially equipped lab in Canada to analyze your results.
In your consultation, Dr. Gee will interpret and explain the results.
We highly recommend re-testing 3-6 months after implementing health changes to view objective evidence of changes in your molecular profile.
